Editor's review
This is a software tool that lets you create CD/DVD labels on standard stationary for label printing.
Home Disk Label is a CD/DVD disk label designer on the Mac. It helps you make CD/DVD labels that we need to create to mark the CD/DVDs we create for our media collections. The label maker and the output are professional enough to use in software or content distribution from a home business/small business. All it takes are three simple steps. Select a CD label format. You are able to pick it off easily from a list presented to you. Depending on the selection, the blank background used for design changes. Now it is time to choose a design/layout template. All you need to do thereafter is to type in the desired text, add the clip art you want and get a professional looking label easily. Numerous image effects, like the opacity level and image mask, in combination with other settings are available for you to play with.
All the time a real-time preview is available, and you know exactly what you are going to get. Templates for jewel case and spine are also available. You will be able to play with text that can be a multi-line and wrap it around the circular label easily. Image effects that include opacity levels, image mask, etc. can be added. A barcode can be added too if it is a product you are creating. If you are planning to get the label printed from a service, the output can be saved as CD Label Maker document, or as a PDF, TIFF, Postcript file. A large selection of disc, cover, inserts, double cover templates are supplied with the Home Disk Labels. More than a thousand images for backgrounds and clipart in a variety of formats, including JPEG, TIFF, PDF, GIF, etc., are in the product image libraries. A very handy tool.
